Recipe/Product Match

Following recipes is a task everyone can benefit from. This task helps teach students how to match products to each recipe. I made several basic recipe cards and highlighted the products used to make the recipes. They match the visuals of the food items up with each recipe card and then their work is checked for accuracy.

  1. I have to say I have LOVED all your ideas!! It has given me some new ideas for my classroom. I'm interested in the book you wrote, do it give more examples? Do you have a way a person could preview some of the book before ordering?

    1. Thank you for the very nice comment. Honestly I have posted most of the ideas from my book onto this blog. I really couldn't market the book the way I would have liked to and really wanted to share my ideas without making a profit from them. My reward is helping the students in our classroom and helping others with some of the things I have created. Thank you for following my blog!

  2. This is fantastic! I teach students with Autism in a self contained classroom and I am always looking for task boxes that have a true benefit and not just "busy work" task completion. Is this activity as well as the movie one available somewhere for purchase?

  4. Macaroni and cheese, chocolate chip cookies, rice crispy treats, spaghetti with meat sauce, loaded baked potatoes.
